Creepy Crawlers..

Ever since coming to the States i've tried very hard to get used to all the different critters around here, not knowing what they are, what they do, if they are harmless or not, has been pretty interesting.

This evening my b/f took my dog out in the front yard, comes back in 5 min later and asked for a flashlight. He said he stepped on something and wasn't sure what it was..

So i go outside with him, holding the flashlight and find this..

Nice huh? I asked him later what he did with "that thing" ...he let it go!! Can you believe it? Guess i'll be walking around the yard from now on looking everywhere cause if i end up stepping on this thing, i'll have a heart attack.
